So, You've decided to do me the HONOR of documenting your wedding day?
Let me just begin by saying that I LOVE weddings...the amount of space on my DVR that is devoted to wedding shows is slightly embarrassing considering my own wedding has now come and gone. I'm sure my husband thought he'd have even more space freed up on the good ol' DVR for man shows after the wedding, but I just can't get enough!
I love to hear all about your day as you plan it. Going dress shopping? I would love nothing more than some picture mail! Need vendor suggestions, or just advice in general? I recently got married on 10*10*10, and I'd love to share my experience (and perhaps live a little vicariously through yours)!
I've got way too much "info" on shooting your wedding to share right here, so please contact me to dish about the details of your day!
1. WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU SHOOT WITH?
I shoot with a Nikon D700 and a vast assortment of Nikon lenses. I've been shooting with Nikon cameras since the good ol' days when you'd splash around for hours in the darkroom to produce the perfect image on paper from (gasp!) film!
2. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DROP YOUR CAMERA?
I've got a back-up, along with many Nikon lenses and flashes.
3. FLASHES, YOU SAY?
My goal is to shoot in the most natural light possible to document your day. I feel like natural light is the most beautiful and most true to real life. You might notice me opening curtains or blinds if we are indoors to let in more light...and you will thank me later. When there is no natural light available, I have the very best Nikon flashes on hand to light my images. However, it is my promise to you to never use a flash while you are saying your wedding vows, unless you have asked me to.

Your photo shoot is all about YOU, so it's totally okay to be selfish right now. You have my permission! Whether it's getting your hair done, shopping for an outfit that makes you feel "WOW", or getting your make-up professionally applied...this is one of the times where you have FULL permission to not only do something nice for yourself, but to feel absolutely AMAZING about yourself while you do it! Believe me, when you feel amazing, it will definitely show in your photos! You'll walk taller, you'll laugh louder, and you won't be able to wipe the smile off of your face....maybe not even for the serious shots. ;-)
